My client is a leading household name when it comes to the D-I-Y and Electrical industry and are now looking for a sales Manager to cover their Italian Market. They are currently going through a period of substantial growth and are looking to bring an extra member into their team.
The role
As the Sales Manager - Italy you will be responsible for developing new business within the CE market. You will create a business plan to outline revenue and growth goals whilst creating a strategy to meet these goals. You will manage larger key customer accounts and act as the first point of contact.
Key responsibility's
- Develop and secure business by working closely with the Key Accounts and distributors in Technical Superstores Channel
- Develop new business with prospective Key Accounts in Buying Groups Channel
- Increase and improve the direct customer relationships and have a strong presence at all levels of the organization of key account
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the assigned Key Accounts that ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Preparation and submission of weekly reports and monthly forecast
- Coordination of the core marketing activities and monitoring the sell-through results
- Managing communications between key clients and internal team
- Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, inspire, negotiate and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Ideal Candidate
You will already be a successful Sales Manager covering the Italian Market for an electronic, robotic or D-I-Y business. You will be confident in creating a business vision and always working towards this. You will be able to manage key accounts and will be able to collaborate with cross functional teams of experts. You must have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships whilst developing profitable account growth.
Key requirements
- Master/Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or other relevant majors
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the Consumer Electronics, Small Domestic Appliances or IT industry, ideally with existing network in retail
- A proven background in managing the technical superstores (UniEuro, Mediaworld…), the buying groups (Euronics, Expert, Trony) and distributors.
- Knowledge of complete sales cycle, from planning/forecasting to sell-in & sell-out management
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results against business plans
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
- Capable to work in an international environment
- Great adaptability and flexibility to changes in a fast growing organization
- Native level Italian and fluency in English in written and verbal
