Our client is a leading supplier of communication systems to the underground mining industry. Their aim is to provide underground mines with effective remote communication systems to increase safety and productivity. This role will be based at our clients' HQ in Sudbury, Ontario. You will report directly to the CEO.

Due to team restructuring, our client is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their growing team of Sales Representatives, whilst for maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will also develop and implement strategic sales plans to support revenue growth & market expansion.

In this Sales Manager position, you will also be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the Canadian Sales Team, including remote and out-of-province staff.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to support revenue growth and market expansion.
• Coordinating with the global group to align on international sales opportunities and product strategies.
• Conducting site visits to underground and surface mines to assess needs, present solutions, and provide technical sales support.
• Responding to urgent customer support inquiries, including remote and on-site assistance when necessary.
• Preparing accurate monthly sales reports, annual departmental budgets, and sales forecasts based on market data and performance analysis.
• Delivering training to end-users on products and systems.
• Mentoring and supporting the professional development of Sales Team members.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have an educational background in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Have 5+ years technical sales/business development experience.
• Have successful experience in leading national sales teams.
• Have strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office.
• Experience selling mining technology an advantage.
