About the Company:
Our client is a well-established seafood manufacturer, supplying high-quality chilled and frozen products to retailers, foodservice operators, and international customers. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive commercial growth and strengthen customer relationships.
The Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy across key accounts, while identifying new business opportunities in the seafood sector. You'll play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that sales targets are achieved in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow relationships with retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the seafood sector.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements with customers.
Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial decisions.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for senior management.
Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Sales Manager, National Account Manager, or Commercial Manager within seafood, meat, or wider food manufacturing.
Strong understanding of the seafood supply chain, product development, and customer requirements.
Demonstrated success in growing sales with major retailers, foodservice operators, or wholesale distributors.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver both short-term results and long-term strategy.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
