About the Company:
Our client is a well-established seafood manufacturer, supplying high-quality chilled and frozen products to retailers, foodservice operators, and international customers. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive commercial growth and strengthen customer relationships.

The Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy across key accounts, while identifying new business opportunities in the seafood sector. You'll play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that sales targets are achieved in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the seafood sector.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional agreements with customers.

  • Collaborate closely with production, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial decisions.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for senior management.

  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, National Account Manager, or Commercial Manager within seafood, meat, or wider food manufacturing.

  • Strong understanding of the seafood supply chain, product development, and customer requirements.

  • Demonstrated success in growing sales with major retailers, foodservice operators, or wholesale distributors.

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver both short-term results and long-term strategy.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
