Technical Sales Specialist - Power Transmission & Material Handling

A well-established global manufacturer of mechanical power transmission and material handling equipment is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support customers across Western Australia's mining, industrial, and heavy manufacturing sectors.

With a strong local presence and in-house manufacturing capabilities, the company provides both standard and custom-engineered solutions across sprockets, gear drives, conveyor systems, and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage relationships with mining operators, OEMs, and industrial distributors

• Provide on-site technical support and product recommendations

• Identify new business opportunities and drive aftermarket growth

• Liaise closely with internal teams including engineering, production, and customer service

• Represent a trusted and growing brand with an existing WA customer base

What We're Looking For:

• 3-8 years' experience in technical sales or applications support within mechanical equipment, power transmission, or material handling

• Solid knowledge of sprockets, gearboxes, bearings, chains, or conveyor systems

• Comfortable engaging with engineering, maintenance, and procurement stakeholders

• Commercially minded, self-motivated, and technically credible

• Based in WA with flexibility to travel throughout the region (30-50%)
