Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities in Mexico
- Promote a portfolio of specialty ingredients using a consultative sales approach
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products based on technical and market requirements
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including R&D, procurement, and senior management
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints professionally
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP systems
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in ingredients, food & beverage, or supplements
- Experience in account management and business development
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Comfortable working across cultures with strong problem-solving abilities
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability
