Sales Agronomist

CSG Talent has an opportunity for a salesperson with a background within agricultural and animal health markets, to drive sales activity in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Target new business opportunities in agricultural applications, interacting with farmers, agents, agronomists and consultants.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive demand across animal feed and health businesses.
• Build on the existing distribution network of agents across New Zealand, to facilitate growth and servicing of the market.
• Active participation at field days, conducting field trials, promoting/launching of new products.
• Creation and maintenance of quotations and opportunity pipelines.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2-3 years sales experience within agriculture, animal health or chemicals markets. Ideally has worked with soil improvement, fertiliser or chemical products.
• Degree in a relevant field - a combination with marketing will be highly regarded.
• Is system savvy and can fully utilise social media to promote products.
• You need to be a strong communicator, proactive and results oriented.
• Able to travel across New Zealand when required.
