Sales Account Manager - Specialty Ingredients & Solutions
We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Account Manager to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and fuel growth in the specialty ingredients and solutions space. This role blends relationship management with a hunter mentality-you will nurture existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities. You'll work closely with clients across manufacturers, brands, and direct-to-consumer channels to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver measurable results. This fully remote role includes travel and offers the chance to influence product strategy, market development, and overall business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and grow a portfolio of clients across manufacturers, brands, and direct-to-consumer channels.
Sell premium ingredients, custom formulations, and specialized manufacturing services.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to drive revenue growth.
Negotiate contracts and pricing that deliver value for both clients and the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and support strategic initiatives.
Use market insights to identify opportunities and anticipate client needs.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of sales experience in ingredients, dietary supplements, or a related market.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of product science or manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Permanent U.S. work authorization.
