A well-respected and growing construction equipment dealer is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager to take ownership of the sales teams across its West Ohio branches. With a strong market share in heavy equipment and clear opportunity to grow the compact and rental sides of the business, this is a hands-on leadership role with real influence across two important locations.

This position is suited to a true people leader, someone who enjoys being out in the field with their team, coaching, mentoring, and driving accountability through clear expectations and consistent follow-up. The right person will bring structure, energy, and direction to an already established group, helping them reach their full potential.

Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager will be fully responsible for leading and developing a team of five outside sales representatives and one rental representative across the Toledo and Lima branches. This is a field-based role, with a strong emphasis on coaching and active customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading, coaching, and holding accountable a team of 5 outside sales reps and 1 rental rep across two branches.
  • Spending the majority of time in the field working directly with reps and customers.
  • Improving consistency, activity levels, and closing performance through coaching and structured processes.
  • Driving growth in compact equipment while continuing to build on strong heavy equipment market share.
  • Supporting and aligning closely with rental operations to drive shared success.
  • usage, paperwork standards, and overall sales discipline.
  • Playing a role in future team growth, including potential additions on the compact side.

Candidate Profile
