Propulsion Engineer

We are partnering with an industry leader in aerospace technology and they're looking for a skilled Propulsion Engineer to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation propulsion systems that will push the boundaries of aerospace engineering and space exploration.

What You'll Do:

• Design & Optimize: Develop propulsion systems for spacecraft, launch vehicles, and other aerospace applications. Focus on engine and thruster systems, from design to integration.

• Simulate & Test: Perform thermal, structural, and fluid analysis to validate system performance. Support rigorous testing of propulsion components and systems.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with systems engineers, materials specialists, and project managers to ensure the propulsion system meets mission requirements.

• Innovate: Continuously seek opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and safety in propulsion systems through creative problem-solving and cutting-edge technology.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in propulsion system design, testing, or integration, ideally in the aerospace or defense sectors.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and propulsion technologies. Proficiency with simulation tools like ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar.

• Additional Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and excel in high-pressure testing environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with solid or liquid rocket engines, thrusters, or other aerospace propulsion systems.

• Test experience with cold and hot fire testing, engine systems, or testing equipment.

• Familiarity with additive manufacturing techniques for propulsion components.

• U.S. Citizenship or the ability to obtain security clearance (if applicable).
