Design & Optimize: Develop propulsion systems for spacecraft, launch vehicles, and other aerospace applications. Focus on engine and thruster systems, from design to integration.
Simulate & Test: Perform thermal, structural, and fluid analysis to validate system performance. Support rigorous testing of propulsion components and systems.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with systems engineers, materials specialists, and project managers to ensure the propulsion system meets mission requirements.
Innovate: Continuously seek opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and safety in propulsion systems through creative problem-solving and cutting-edge technology.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in propulsion system design, testing, or integration, ideally in the aerospace or defense sectors.
Skills: Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and propulsion technologies. Proficiency with simulation tools like ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar.
Additional Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot, adapt, and excel in high-pressure testing environments. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with solid or liquid rocket engines, thrusters, or other aerospace propulsion systems.
Test experience with cold and hot fire testing, engine systems, or testing equipment.
Familiarity with additive manufacturing techniques for propulsion components.
U.S. Citizenship or the ability to obtain security clearance (if applicable).
