Job Summary:

Our client are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial general contracting and will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client communications to ensure high-quality project delivery on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, procurement, execution, and close-out.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

  • Prepare and monitor budgets; track expenses, manage change orders, and ensure cost efficiency.

  • Coordinate with field superintendents to ensure work is performed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress meetings with stakeholders.

  • Negotiate contracts and manage performance of subcontractors and vendors.

  • Identify and resolve issues related to design, logistics, and construction methods.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other applicable laws and standards.

  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, daily reports, and project close-out materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, commercial construction methods, and industry standards.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  • PMP or other relevant certifications a plus.
