Project Manager - Healthcare Construction
Location: Dallas, TX
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects across the Dallas area for a leading General Contractor As a core member of our clients team, you'll drive the successful delivery of complex hospital and medical facility builds - from preconstruction through close-out - ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full project lifecycle including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, and close-out.
- Manage daily operations of healthcare construction projects, ensuring compliance with all codes, regulations, and infection-control standards.
- Partner with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners to deliver on-time and within budget.
- Lead, mentor, and support project engineers, superintendents, and field staff.
- Monitor project financials: cost reporting, forecasting, billing, and change order management.
- Maintain rigorous safety standards and enforce company policies on active healthcare job sites.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve conflicts, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years' experience in commercial construction with a focus on healthcare facilities (hospitals, clinics, medical offices).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar healthcare projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, regulatory requirements, and infection control procedures.
- Skilled in project management software (e.g., CMiC, Prolog, Primavera P6, Procore, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
