We are working closely with a prominent and innovative architecture firm celebrated for its commitment to sustainable design and excellence in delivering federal projects. With substantial engagements involving federal agencies, they seek a seasoned Project Manager in Portland specializing in federal sector projects.
As Project Manager focusing on Federal Projects, you'll lead complex projects from initial conception through to execution, ensuring alignment with stringent federal guidelines and expectations. This role offers substantial responsibility and the opportunity to impact projects of national significance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as subject matter expert in federal project planning and design across various typologies and regions.
Coordinate comprehensive project efforts, managing contractual, administrative, and technical processes.
Oversee project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified schedules and budgets.
Strengthen client partnerships and engage actively in strategic business development.
Foster robust communication among clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Contribute proactively to mentorship and the growth-oriented culture of the firm.
Travel as required, approximately 1-2 trips per quarter.
Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically managing federal projects.
Architecture Liscence required.
Preferably LEED or Living Future accredited.
Competency in Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proven understanding of federal project workflows, contracting, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrable leadership skills and ability to manage concurrent high-stakes projects effectively.
