We are working with a highly respected and forward-thinking architecture practice recognized for design excellence and sustainable practices across the Western United States. With a strong reputation built on collaborative and innovative design, they are now seeking a Project Manager in Portland with a dedicated focus on Academic projects.

As Project Manager for Academic projects, you will lead the planning, design, and execution of higher education projects of varying complexities and scales. You'll directly engage with institutional leadership, managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in the planning and design of academic facilities, ensuring projects align with institutional visions and objectives.

• Oversee contractual, administrative, and technical project aspects for optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead internal and external project teams, maintaining accountability for quality, schedule, and budget.

• Cultivate strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives.

• Mentor team members, contributing positively to firm culture and professional growth.

• Occasional travel required, estimated at 1-2 trips per quarter.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of architectural experience with at least 5 years specifically in higher education.

• Architecture Liscence required

• LEED or Living Future accreditation advantageous.

• Proficient in Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Demonstrated success in sustainable design practices and collaborative teamwork.
