Job Descripton
They require a proven Project Engineer as they go from two lines to seven lines. You will coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects as well as Oversees various aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned project.
Key Responsibilities
* Manages project execution of existing projects, collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor and other resources required to complete the project.
o Develops detailed project GANTT charts and manages overall progress against timelines. o Manages Weekly and Monthly project meetings including setting agenda, capturing minutes, managing an action register to ensure on time completion of project.
o Prepares and presents weekly and monthly project updates/reports to Leadership, Customers and Stakeholders. o Manages changes, scope creep and project modifications through a change management process to ensure project is on time and on budget.
o Ensures successful transition to Production / Operations by engaging and collaborating with stakeholders.
o Supervises progress of development project and activities, including contractors and suppliers.
* Financial Management o Manages project budget, tracks spending, and compares the actual cost of development project to estimates and budget and reports and advises on variance and risks.
* Recommends and/or analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project.
* Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors.
* Develop project proposals, estimates and timeline for new projects. Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs. * Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
* Collaborates with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
* Collaborates with project team members to share problems and solutions.
* Focus and continuous improvement.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
