We are representing a reputable and established Architecture firm in Charlotte, who are seeking a new Project Architect to join the business. Due to natural growth and secured future projects, this opportunity will be supporting on all assignments from start to finish, contributing towards all key phases including the likes of Schematic design, construction documentation and contract administration.

The market leading firm operate nationwide in key markets such as Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Workplace, Science & Discovery, Multifamily, Industrial, Civic and Mixed Use to name a few.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of multiple small, medium and large-scale projects from concept design through construction administration, ensuring design excellence, technical quality, and successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, collaborating with principals, project managers, and project controls to define project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and work plans while maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design and documentation, ensuring design intent is maintained and building systems are effectively coordinated to support project goals.
  • Develop and present architectural concepts, including space planning, block planning, and adjacency studies, balancing client requirements, program, functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
  • Lead project coordination, owner, consultant, contractor, and site meetings, fostering collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
  • Support office leadership by monitoring project performance, ensuring compliance with firm-wide project delivery standards, and promoting strong client relationships through exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Ideally 5-15 year's experience or higher.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of delivering projects across multiple phases.
  • Ability to be cross functional across projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with internal and external teams.
  • Confident and comfortable with Revit.
