We are representing a nationally established and reputable Architecture firm in Charlotte, who are seeking an experienced Project Architect to join the team.
The market leading organisation have a real presence within the Multifamily, Higher Education, Commercial, Multi-Use, Workplace, Civic, Healthcare and Retail sectors for compelling projects across the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee coordination between clients, internal design teams, and external consultants throughout all project stages.
- Integrate and manage comprehensive drawing and documentation packages with structural, MEP, lighting, audiovisual, and civil disciplines.
- Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Offer technical leadership and develop creative solutions to address complex design and construction challenges.
- Prepare, update, and administer project manuals and technical specifications.
- Undertake regular site inspections and record construction progress and compliance.
- Review and process contractor submittals, substitution proposals, and Requests for Information (RFIs) during the construction phase.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Multifamily / Residential and ideally at least one of the following sectors Higher Education, Commercial, Multi-use, Workplace, Civic, Healthcare or Retail is desirable.
- Ideally AIA registered or enrolled to be a qualified licensed architect.
- Confident with Auto-CAD or Revit.
- Excellent written or verbal communication for stakeholder management.
