We are representing an established and market leading Architectural firm in Atlanta, who are seeking a Project Architect to join the existing team.
As Project Architect reporting into the Principal, you will be responsible for advancing the overall project vision, design, and technical development to deliver complete, accurate, and well-coordinated construction documents. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and wider team, this role leads and coordinates complex or concurrent projects through all phases, ensuring design intent, quality, and technical performance are upheld.
The position requires a strong commitment to continuous improvement, excellent communication and collaboration skills. Alongside this will be a high level of accountability to effectively partner with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of complete project documentation aligned with design intent, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee construction administration and provide interpretation of contract documents during implementation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and industry partners.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of building codes and industry standards to inform design and documentation decisions.
- Exercise sound judgement in resolving design and technical challenges.
- Support project budgeting, programming, and scope development as needed.
- Contribute to proposal and business development efforts.
- Participate in quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and coordination of deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally 5-15 years design and architecture industry experience.
- Registered or Licensed Architect.
- Confident and comfortable with the likes of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Knowledge of key sectors such as either Healthcare, Mission Critical, K-12, Higher Education, Multifamily or MixedUse/Workplace.
