Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Directs and coordinates all operations for a manufacturing plant.
· Reviews production costs and efficiencies. Implements necessary changes.
· Implements quality control procedures to ensure a consistent and high quality product.
· Maintains an operational schedule to deliver on time.
· Develop capital expense ROIs and recommendations.
· Develop the annual operations budget to include all salaries and expenses.
· Directs the continuous improvement programs.
· Responsible to ensure that employee safety and concerns are addressed effectively.
· Develops and implements standard procedures to include preventive maintenance plans.
· Responsible to implement all operational employee training.
· Be a "hands on" and people orientated manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in Maintenance and Production. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
