As the Production Manager, you will oversee all bakery production activities to ensure that products are made safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for leading your team, meeting production goals, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and inspire the production team to deliver consistent, high-quality baked goods.
Plan, schedule, and manage daily production to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
Monitor product quality and enforce food safety and GMP standards at every step of the process.
Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to keep production running smoothly.
Implement and maintain best practices for efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, downtime, and labor efficiency.
Identify and resolve production issues quickly, while developing long-term process improvements.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, health, and safety requirements.
Support training and development to build a strong, skilled production workforce.
What You Bring
Proven leadership experience in bakery, food, or beverage manufacturing (bread, pastry, or snack production experience is a plus).
Strong understanding of bakery production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills - you know how to balance priorities in a busy production environment.
Strong leadership and communication abilities - you thrive at building engaged, high-performing teams.
Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Commitment to safety, food quality, and operational excellence.
