Principal Mining Engineer - Corporate

Seeking experienced Engineers with Operational/Production experience for an exciting new role within the corporate offices of a growing Gold Mining company. Can be Vancouver based or Hybrid with travel to the office and sites (30-40%)

Requirements Below:

• Mine Engineering degree, with planning experience across multiple sites
• Hard rock OP & or UG experience - 15+ years
• Production experience - Think production engineer, superintendent etc. This can also be from the consultancy side of improving operations/optimisation's
• Member of an industry recognised professional organisation
• Exposure to industry best practices
• Fleet management systems, autonomous mining systems, mining method trade-offs

Assets:

• Gold experience in South America and Canada
• Spanish/Portuguese speaking, or a willingness to learn
• Vancouver based
• Continuous improvement expertise
