Plant Manager (Beef)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all operations at our beef processing facility. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, regulatory compliance, and employee safety, while driving continuous improvement and profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep knowledge of the beef industry and proven success managing large-scale processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of plant operations, including slaughter, fabrication, packaging, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics.

• Ensure compliance with USDA, FSIS, HACCP, OSHA, and company standards.

• Drive production efficiency, yield improvement, and cost control initiatives.

• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Develop, mentor, and inspire plant leadership and staff.

• Partner with corporate leadership on long-term strategy and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Meat Science, Food Science, Animal Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

• 10+ years of progressive leadership in beef or protein processing, with at least 5 years in a plant management or senior operations role.

• Strong understanding of USDA, FSIS, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

• Proven track record of managing large teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
