The Plant Manager provides overall leadership and direction for all plant operations - including production, distribution, warehousing, sanitation, and maintenance - to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability. This role collaborates with internal departments, government agencies, and customers while promoting a strong culture of teamwork and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
Develop and implement short- and long-term production and operational goals.
Build and maintain a skilled, motivated workforce and strong management team.
Ensure compliance with USDA, SSOP, and HACCP standards.
Partner with engineering, quality, and marketing teams to support product and process development.
Participate in strategic planning, including budgeting, capital projects, and workforce development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
8+ years of progressive management experience in food processing (poultry preferred).
Strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software.
