As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery production to ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with food safety standards. You will lead the production team, manage schedules, maintain quality control, and work closely with other departments to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and manage the daily production schedule to meet order requirements and deadlines.
Supervise and support production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Ensure all bakery products are prepared to the highest quality and consistency standards.
Implement and monitor food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.
Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to avoid production downtime.
Analyze production data and identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Maintain accurate production records, HACCP documentation, and compliance reports.
Enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
Qualifications:
You have 3-5 years of experience in a bakery or food production environment, including supervisory or management roles.
You possess a strong understanding of bakery operations, food safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
You demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
You can handle multiple tasks, solve problems quickly, and perform well under pressure.
Familiarity with inventory and production management systems is a plus.
You're flexible with your schedule and able to work early mornings, weekends, or shifts as needed.
