Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Account Manager to join our team and drive growth within the Turf & Ornamental market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the industry, a proven track record in sales, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals within the Turf & Ornamental sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including golf courses, landscape contractors, and nursery operators.
  • Provide expert knowledge on our specialized plant nutrition portfolio, including product benefits, applications, and problem-solving solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training to customers and potential customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand market penetration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, marketing, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage sales pipeline, customer data, and sales reporting.
  • Conduct regular sales forecasting and territory planning.

Qualifications:

Degree in Turfgrass Management, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Turf & Ornamental industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of plant nutrition and soil science.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
