Metallurgist

CSG Talent are hiring for a mission-critical role with a rapidly scaling steel forging facility operating at the cutting edge of U.S. defense manufacturing.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll be instrumental to operational success:

• Support and refine core manufacturing operations

• Interface directly with vendors to ensure material standards

• Take ownership of metallurgical processes across the site

• Oversee material flow, quality, and performance

• Lead and optimize forging, heat treating, quenching, and tempering processes

• Help shape and expand the facility's physical capabilities

Who We're Looking For:

We're not looking for lab-bound theorists - this is hands-on, high-volume, industrial metallurgy. Ideal candidates will have:

• Steel forging expertise, specifically closed-die forging

• Experience in volume manufacturing or heavy industrial settings

• A physical metallurgy background (not chemical)

• Proven involvement in building or scaling production facilities

• A practical mindset with an eye for precision, reliability, and mission alignment
