Job Description:
In this role, you will train and guide maintenance technicians to keep production equipment in top condition, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will develop and deliver training programs that enhance technical skills, reinforce food safety and compliance standards, and improve overall equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
You will assess training needs by reviewing equipment performance, maintenance logs, and team skill levels.
You will create and deliver hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems used in food manufacturing.
You will train technicians on preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe work practices.
You will ensure that all training emphasizes food safety, hygiene, and compliance with FDA, USDA, and GMP standards.
You will develop training materials, SOPs, and visual aids to support learning and standardization.
You will coach team members on proper documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping to meet regulatory requirements.
You will monitor training effectiveness, track employee progress, and provide feedback to improve performance.
You will stay current on food manufacturing technologies, safety protocols, and regulatory changes to keep training up to date.
Qualifications:
You have proven experience in maintenance or technical training within a food or manufacturing environment.
You understand GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards and can incorporate them into training.
You have strong knowledge of production equipment, utilities, and packaging systems common in food manufacturing.
You have excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to train employees at different skill levels.
You are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
