Maintenance Supervisor - Dairy

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations within our dairy manufacturing facility. You'll play a vital role in ensuring that production equipment, utilities, and facilities run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to support continuous operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and motivate the maintenance team to achieve operational excellence.

• Plan, assign, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on dairy processing and packaging equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (including FDA, OSHA, and GMP).

• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to identify root causes of issues and implement long-term solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment history.

• Oversee spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely repair or replacement of equipment.

• Support capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Enforce safety policies and foster a culture of safe work practices.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in maintenance supervision within a food or beverage manufacturing environment (dairy experience preferred).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems common in dairy manufacturing.

• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Excellent leadership and communication skills - you know how to guide a team and collaborate across departments.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
