The Maintenance Planner will be maintaining and developing the predictive/preventative maintenance program for the underground mobile equipment and fixed assets. This role will definitely suit someone who likes the challenges that come with working with older equipment with a lot of scope for improvization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance for the underground equipment fleet.
- Create preventative, predictive, and regulatory maintenance plans.
- Track work order compliance and ensure all regulatory work is executed each month.
- Lead planning and scheduling meetings with maintenance Superintendents, Supervisors, and contractor work groups.
- Perform parts assessments and submit inventory requests for critical components.
- Review completed work order packages to create follow up work orders.
- Work with contractor technicians and maintenance supervisors to ensure vendor managed inventory usage is accounted for, and components are charged to the correct units.
- Support operations and maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
- Work with reliability team to ensure their concerns and action items are scheduled and executed.
Qualifications
- Expected to have experience in similar roles and knowledge of mobile maintenance disciplines.
- Good computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is an asset.
- Proven communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be extremely organized, have good interpersonal skills, be cooperative and able to work with cross-functional teams.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
Please note, this role would require relocating as FIFO isn't a possibility.
