Are you ready to take the next step in your maintenance career with a team that values safety, excellence, and collaboration? In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping plant operations running smoothly while supporting a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
You will:
Use power tools, welding tools, forklifts, articulating booms, and more to complete assigned projects.
Read blueprints and create layout sketches.
Use a plasma cutter for various fabrication tasks.
Diagnose and repair plant breakdowns quickly and accurately using troubleshooting skills.
Troubleshoot and wire 3-phase motors, as well as 110v and 24v control wiring.
Rebuild centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
Follow all safety procedures and uphold the core value of Excellence.
Communicate and collaborate closely with production operators to maintain equipment reliability.
Prioritize work effectively and take ownership of repairs and results.
Actively participate in training and development programs that may occur before, during, or after shifts.
Help coach and train team members through hands-on and buddy training.
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards, reporting any incidents or opportunities for improvement.
Participate in food safety root cause investigations when needed.
Always prioritize safety by identifying and reporting hazards and supporting safety team activities.
Potentially participate in ERT and HazMat teams.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
1 year of industrial manufacturing experience OR completion of a technical program.
Solid knowledge of basic hand tools.
Ability to clearly explain troubleshooting methods.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating 12-hour shifts (7-7).
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
High school diploma or GED.
Certificate or training in Industrial Maintenance, Automotive/Diesel Equipment, or related fields.
1 year of SAP experience.
2 years of dairy manufacturing and 1 year of operator-based maintenance experience.
4 years of industrial manufacturing or 2 years of industrial/automotive/diesel/ag maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of gas, TIG, MIG, and arc welding (most welding is performed by external vendors, but familiarity is beneficial).
