Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and safety focused Longwall Maintenance Manager to join the underground team in Alabama.

As our next Maintenance Manager, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of day-to-day maintenance operations.

• Ensure quality of electrical & maintenance work, to provide reliable plant and equipment for project operations
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to maintenance personnel
• Ensure alignment of maintenance objectives with production objectives
• Ensure compliance to site health, safety and environmental policy
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the maintenance infrastructure
• Execute the maintenance plan
• Collaborate with the planning function to optimise the plan to ensure successful execution
• Ensure adequate resources are in place to execute work
• Drive a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.

About You:

• Minimum 10+ years' experience in longwall coal mining operations, with proven leadership in a similar role
• Exceptional understanding of longwall equipment, processes and underground safety standards
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams
• High attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and behavioural safety leadership.
