As an Operations Line Leader, you will lead a line-centric leadership team to achieve breakthrough production results in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for all results on your assigned line or area - up to 80 team members - using a rigorous Daily Direction Setting system in partnership with a Line Continuous Improvement Lead and a Maintenance Lead. Together, you will set priorities and drive out losses across a 24-hour, multi-shift operation.

You will take ownership of Safety, Quality, Production, Reliability, and Material Usage targets to deliver operational excellence and foster a culture of engagement and accountability. Your leadership will help ensure that your team consistently meets customer expectations and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own human and food safety for your line/system and drive continuous improvement in both.

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for the delivery of line performance and financial targets.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development for all team members.

  • Build operator capability to identify, measure, and eliminate losses on their equipment.

  • Identify training gaps and develop comprehensive training plans to close them.

  • Empower employees to use lean manufacturing tools to eliminate waste and improve performance.

  • Manage day-to-day line operations, ensuring safety, product quality, and execution of improvement plans.

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and daily leadership of operators and technicians.

  • Lead effective shift handoffs and support onboarding for new employees.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of performance metrics for your shift.

  • Execute efficient line start-ups, changeovers, and maintenance priorities.

  • Drive engagement and performance through clear communication and recognition programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to apply Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing tools.

  • Basic technical capability on at least one product platform.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
