We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to drive sustainability, safety, and reliability initiatives across diverse facility portfolios. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll build and lead a team focused on optimizing electrical system performance and compliance while promoting sustainable practices and operational excellence.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams-including facilities management, operations, and engineering-to ensure electrical systems meet the highest standards for safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Lead and mentor an engineering team focused on electrical system analysis and optimization.
Perform detailed arc flash hazard analyses in compliance with IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E.
Conduct short-circuit, load flow, and protective device coordination studies.
Develop and maintain electrical system models using software such as SKM, PowerTools, ETAP, or EasyPower.
Collect and interpret electrical data, including one-line diagrams, equipment ratings, and protective device settings.
Prepare and review arc flash reports, PPE recommendations, and safety documentation.
Provide technical guidance on electrical safety compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with field teams and project managers to ensure accurate data collection and execution.
Support and deliver training programs on electrical safety and arc flash awareness.
Develop and review proposals for engineering scopes of work.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including leadership roles in infrastructure or existing facilities.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or ability to obtain).
Proficiency with NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Demonstrated experience with arc flash software (e.g., SKM, ETAP).
Strong understanding of electrical power and distribution systems, including lighting, fire, security, and control systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel occasionally for site work and client engagement.
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat).
