CSG Talent are working with a global innovator in Battery recycling, supporting partnerships with OEM's and Tier 1 suppliers across the world, to close the loop on Lithium-Ion batteries and drive a sustainable future.

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to manage commercial relationships with German OEM's. As the primary interface, you will ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic account lead across all battery recycling initiatives in Germany and Europe.

  • Manage day-to-day coordination, contract execution, and commercial performance.

  • Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders, including sustainability, procurement, and engineering teams.

  • Monitor recycling volume forecasts and coordinate with internal operations, logistics, and regulatory teams to ensure delivery excellence.

  • Identify and drive growth opportunities, including expanding scope across additional battery platforms or geographic regions.

  • Report directly to the European Commercial Director and collaborate with global recycling and materials teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in key account management, preferably in the automotive, battery, or sustainability sectors.

  • Deep understanding of the EV value chain, battery lifecycle, or recycling industry is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience managing strategic automotive OEM accounts.

  • Strong commercial acumen with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

  • Must have excellent communication skills in German and English.

This position is remote from Germany with occasional travel to customer sites.
