General Manager - Dairy Ingredients (Spain)

We are seeking a highly skilled and operationally strong General Manager to lead a rapidly growing dairy ingredients business with a global footprint. The successful candidate will oversee a production facility near Madrid and play a key role in driving operational excellence, people development, and long-term business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations at the production site.

• Drive efficiency and ensure consistent product quality.

• Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.

• Oversee financial performance, including cost control, budgeting, and margin improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Collaborate with senior leadership on growth opportunities and long-term planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role within the dairy ingredients sector.

• Strong knowledge of dairy processing operations.

• Demonstrated success in managing teams and improving organizational performance.

• Solid financial and analytical skills, with experience managing budgets and P&L.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Fluent in English; Spanish language skills strongly preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
