Field Operator - Mining & Exploration

CSG is partnering with a leading mineral exploration technology company to recruit a Field Operator to support geophysical field operations in Saudi Arabia. This hands-on role involves operating MT and Gravity equipment, performing field-level quality checks, and supporting the collection of accurate, high-quality data for exploration programs.

This will be a full time role, on site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The role responsibilities

• Deploy and operate MT and Gravity instruments following strict technical standards

• Conduct field-level quality control, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure data integrity

• Assist with daily site setup, instrument calibration, and station verification

• Support crew activities and maintain method discipline under guidance from team leads

• Report daily on station performance, instrument issues, and operational progress

• Make minor adjustments to station placement to account for environmental or technical factors

• Follow HSE procedures and contribute to safe, efficient field operations

Experience required

• 2-5+ years' experience in geophysical field acquisition (MT, Gravity, EM, or passive seismic)

• Practical knowledge of MT or Gravity methods, including electrode deployment, grounding, noise management, drift correction, and station QC

• Comfortable working in remote, challenging field environments

• Strong problem-solving, reporting, and communication skills

• Degree or diploma in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred

• Valid driver's licence; Arabic language skills are a plus
