The Role

This company are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Director to lead our engineering and technical services function across multiple sites. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving capital projects, process optimization, facilities engineering, equipment design and selection, maintenance, and utilities infrastructure in alignment with our growth and compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, maintenance professionals, and project managers.

• Oversee site and corporate-level capital projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes, utilities, and facilities.

• Partner with R&D, Operations, Quality, and EHS to ensure seamless scale-up and commercialization of new products.

• Ensure regulatory compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, and environmental regulations.

• Own preventative maintenance programs and asset reliability strategies.

• Lead technical assessments and due diligence for facility expansions and technology investments.

• Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); Master's preferred.

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; personal care, cosmetics, pharma, or related industries highly preferred.

• Proven success managing capital projects and cross-functional teams.

• Deep understanding of GMPs, process validation, and scale-up methodologies.

• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
