A leading NYC-based electrical contractor is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join its estimating team in North Queens. The firm specializes in public infrastructure, large-scale commercial, and transit-related electrical projects across the five boroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze RFPs, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.

• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of labor, materials, and subcontractor quotes.

• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering to ensure scope alignment and constructability.

• Prepare bid packages and participate in project hand-offs and value engineering.

• Maintain cost history database and update unit pricing as market conditions evolve.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience as an electrical estimator in NYC.

• Strong knowledge of NYC codes, union labor practices, and electrical systems (commercial and public works).

• Proficient in estimating software (such as Accubid, ConEst, or equivalent).

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (but not required with experience).
