We are seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead and expand their business in the Western USA region.
Job Summary:
As the Director of Sales - Western USA, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key customer relationships, and leading strategic initiatives within your territory. This role requires a deep understanding of mineral processing operations, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive revenue in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share and drive revenue growth in the Western USA region.
Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers in mining and mineral processing operations.
Lead the sales team and distributor network, providing guidance and motivation to achieve targets.
Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions for customers.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business deals.
Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive activity.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the mining or mineral processing industry.
Strong technical knowledge of wear solutions, liners, and related equipment.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the Western USA region.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
