CSG Talent are partnered with a growth focused confectionery business who are recruiting a newly created sales director position to play a key role in strategic growth plans.
The business are private equity backed with aggressive growth planned via organic customer growth as well as M&A activities. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record relating to growth to join & accelerate growth plans & targets.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy map out of key customer targets & strategic accounts nationally
- Growth & development of existing customers to maximise growth potential & organic growth within customers
- Partner with distributor & broker partners to drive new revenue across multiple retails channels
- Work in partnership with the VP of Sales & CCO to focus on strategic growth initiatives in line with company wide growth plans.
- Seek out new opportunities for growth within various aspects of the retail market whilst also using existing knowledge & connections within the space to hit the ground running.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering growth in retail channels for a food manufacturing business.
- Experience in a fast paced & high growth focused environment such as a PE backed business.
- Hold an existing network of key buyer & senior contacts across a range of strategic retail customers.
- Ability to wear multiple hats as is typical in a growth focused, early stage company setting.
- Strong ability & experience relating to navigating complex accounts & successfully on-boarding customers.
