Director of Regulatory Compliance - Nutra CDMO

Based: Utah (On-site)

About the Client:

CSG are partnered with a rapidly growing, privately held premier powder supplement contract manufacturer on a Director of Regulatory Compliance opening after an internal promotion. As the RC Director, you will ensure company-wide compliance with quality standards, GMPs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. This role leads continuous improvement initiatives and serves as the primary point of contact for regulatory and certification bodies, ensuring the organization remains in good standing. The position works cross-functionally with operations, sales, customer success, and supply chain teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives across all facilities and departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across production, documentation, and labeling

  • Lead and support audits with regulatory agencies and third-party certification bodies (e.g., NSF, Kosher, Halal, Organic)

  • Manage customer audits and partner with customer quality teams to resolve issues

  • Maintain and update SOPs and quality documentation in line with current regulations

  • Partner with operations to provide regulatory guidance and support decision-making

  • Communicate audit findings, deviations, and risks to quality leadership and management

  • Lead recall activities and regulatory response efforts as needed

  • Promote a culture of professionalism, cleanliness, and regulatory accountability

  • Collaborate with the Quality team to enforce compliance across all facilities

  • Build, train, and lead a high-performing regulatory-focused team

Qualifications:

  • cGMP training or equivalent certification

  • 5+ years of quality and regulatory compliance experience in a cGMP environment

  • 5+ years managing company-wide certifications (e.g., Organic, Kosher, Halal, NSF, SQF, or equivalent)

  • Experience leading regulatory, certification, and customer audits

  • 2+ years of people management experience
