Senior Director of Business Development & Sales - Northeast US

Are you a senior business development and sales professional within the Energy industry?

Do you have a strong track record and deep knowledge of Utility and Industrial Energy markets across Northeast US?

Are you experienced in building, developing, and managing sales teams?

We are working with a Global Energy solutions provider who, after significant growth in the space, are looking for a BD lead for their Northeast territory. This person will report to the SVP of Commercial Strategy, and will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a growth strategy aligned with the Company's vision and goals.
  • Leading strategic planning initiatives and ensure effective strategy deployment and execution.
  • Improving sales efficiency, including responsiveness, procurement, contract engagement, and on boarding processes.
  • Increasing market share and conduct effective market research.
  • Encouraging a culture within the Business Development and sales team that prioritizes data as a cornerstone for decision-making

Essential Experience:

  • Strong understanding of clean energy transition, electric utilities, project developers for renewables, battery energy storage as well as other emerging technologies across North America.
  • Track record in developing and executing comprehensive business development and sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Good knowledge of Co-Generation, HVAC, Solar, BESS and other solutions associated with the clean energy transition for their clients.
