CSG Talent is supporting an internationally recognised technical consultancy operating at the intersection of mineral processing, process engineering, and materials development. Following strong global growth, the company is now expanding its footprint in the UK and seeks a dynamic Head of Commercial / Business Development to drive market presence and client acquisition across Europe.
This is a newly created leadership role focused on building partnerships, winning projects, and shaping strategic direction in the UK market. You'll work closely with the Country Manager and collaborate with technical experts across the group's global offices.
Lead business development and client acquisition across mining, battery materials, and advanced industrial materials sectors.
Act as the company's public and professional representative at industry events, conferences, and technical forums.
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with project developers, engineering partners, investors, and government bodies.
Support the creation and implementation of the UK market strategy, aligning closely with global business objectives.
Deliver market insights, track project pipelines, and provide competitor and sector analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Collaborate with internal technical and project teams on proposals, feasibility studies, and cost estimations.
Strong commercial or business development background within mining, minerals processing, engineering consulting, or battery materials.
Some technical knowledge of metallurgy, mineral testing, process design, or feasibility studies.
Proven experience in client facing, revenue generating roles in complex technical environments.
Well-connected within the UK or European critical minerals and energy materials ecosystem.
Confident communicator and credible representative in both technical and commercial discussions.
Must be based in the UK and eligible to work without sponsorship.
