Development Director - Data Centres (UK)

Are you currently a Senior Development Manger, looking for the next step in your career? CSG are currently hiring for a Development Director on behalf of a global data centre operator to oversee the UK market.

As Development Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of development projects across EMEA, ensuring successful execution from concept through handover to Delivery.
• Drive decision-making on site strategy, risk management, and technical requirements, directing consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance, feasibility, and performance.
• Shape market growth and expansion plans by identifying priority locations, evaluating site options, and influencing portfolio strategy.
• Lead site selection, due diligence, permitting, and energy procurement for new developments, securing critical infrastructure and regulatory approvals.

To be considered for this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• Over 5 years' experience in a senior level development position
• Proven experince in expanding project portfolio within the UK data centre space
• Leadership experience
• Based in the UK.
