Overview:
We are seeking an experienced professional with deep expertise in thermal management solutions and fan technologies for mission-critical infrastructure. This role will focus on driving growth for our data centre cooling solutions, combining technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and strong industry relationships to influence specifications and deliver ROI-driven proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on and develop thermal management strategies, including innovations such as larger fan solutions.
Interpret specifications and present energy efficiency/TCO benefits to clients (e.g., EC fans).
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the US data centre ecosystem, including OEMs, hyperscalers, and colocation providers.
Identify and capitalise on customer needs and market trends to drive sales growth.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to support market entry, competitive positioning, and strategic expansion.
Track industry trends and evolving customer requirements to inform product and sales strategies.
Candidate Profile:
Technical Expertise: Strong engineering background with deep knowledge of thermal management systems, ideally within data centre environments.
Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in sales and business development within a technical industry, with 5-7 years' experience.
Industry Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the US data centre market.
Global Perspective: Comfortable working across regions; experience in US, UK, and/or European markets preferred.
Mindset: Strategic, entrepreneurial, and capable of influencing specifications and driving market adoption.
