Role Purpose

As the WA Customer Support Account Manager, you will own and develop a portfolio of 5-6 key site-based accounts. Reporting to the Regional Customer Support Manager, you will drive spare-parts sales, after-sales service uptake and enduring customer relationships through proactive engagement, technical support coordination and strategic account planning.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management:

    • Serve as primary liaison for 5-6 major mining sites across WA

    • Conduct regular site visits to build trust, diagnose needs and identify upsell/service opportunities

  • Sales & Quoting:

    • Prepare and manage quotations, orders and pricing through the company's ERP/CRM system

    • Meet and exceed quarterly targets for spare-parts revenue and service contracts

  • Technical Coordination:

    • Collaborate with field-service teams to resolve on-site issues and optimise maintenance schedules

    • Ensure parts availability and logistics to minimise downtime

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Represent the business at site events, industry forums and customer workshops

    • Handle customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach

  • Portfolio Development:

    • Maintain accurate account records and sales forecasts

    • Review performance metrics regularly to inform strategic account plans


Key Requirements

  • Experience:

    • 4-5+ years in mining-related account management or spare-parts sales

    • Proven track record with crushers, drill bits, mill liners or similar equipment

  • Technical Aptitude:

    • Mechanical curiosity and the ability to communicate effectively with operators and maintenance crews

    • Competent user of ERP/CRM systems (experience with Epicor is advantageous)

  • Interpersonal Skills:

    • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills

    • Resilient under pressure; adept at managing customer feedback and escalations

  • Work Style:

    • Highly autonomous self-starter with strong organisational discipline

    • Flexible to travel across WA (~1-2× per month) and balance office/WFH arrangements
