Their work spans cybersecurity, IT engineering, enterprise service management, software, cloud, mobile, training & logistics, and acquisition & program management.
The Role
We're seeking a strategic, hands‑on Chief Growth Officer to own the full growth lifecycle-market shaping, business development, capture, proposals, partnerships, and marketing-so they can scale impact across their federal civilian and defense customers. You'll build and lead a high‑performing growth organization, align investments with our core capabilities, and drive disciplined pipeline performance and win rates.
What You'll Do
- Set the growth strategy aligned to the company strengths (e.g., Cybersecurity; IT Engineering; EITSM; Software; Cloud; Mobile; Training & Logistics; Acquisition & Program Management). Translate strategy into measurable annual operating plans and 3‑year roadmaps.
- Own the pipeline end‑to‑end: market intelligence, account plans, opportunity qualification, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, bid/no‑bid, and executive reviews.
- Lead capture and proposal excellence: stand‑up repeatable capture plans, Black/Red/Pink team rhythms, solutioning integration, and artifacts that raise P‑win.
- Accelerate through contract vehicles & JVs: maximize throughput on GSA MAS (including listed contract numbers), Army RS3, Navy SeaPort‑NxG, DOJ Cybersecurity BPA, MD CATS+, C5 OTA, and GWACs accessible via our joint ventures (e.g., VETS 2 via 2TechJV; STARS III via GPSItek).
- Build the partner ecosystem: develop primes/subs, OEM/ISV alliances, and small business relationships that unlock new missions and set‑aside pathways.
- Modernize growth operations: implement rigorous forecasting and funnel health metrics (coverage, cycle time, win rate), and optimize CRM/process tooling.
- Shape the brand narrative: oversee marketing, thought leadership, analyst and community engagement that reflect their core values of Integrity, Quality, and Community.
- Coach and scale the team: recruit, mentor, and performance‑manage BD, capture, proposal, marketing, and sales‑ops talent.
- Partner across the ELT: collaborate with delivery leaders to protect recompetes, drive cross‑sell/upsell, and ensure solutions are compelling and executable.
What You'll Bring
- Deep federal market expertise with a track record leading BD/capture across DoD and/or Civilian agencies; mastery of IDIQ/GWAC vehicle dynamics.
- Proven wins on large multi‑year programs (prime and sub) and comfort operating in both competitive and set‑aside environments.
- Fluent in FAR‑driven pursuits and price‑to‑win methods; confident navigating security‑sensitive and mission‑critical programs.
- Builder's DNA: you've scaled growth teams, instituted KPIs, and improved win rates through process, coaching, and tools.
- Executive communication: crisp storylines for customers and internal stakeholders; strong briefing and negotiation skills.
