Chief Financial Officer

CSG Talent are currently working with a TSX and NYSE listed North American critical minerals mining company to support their search for a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team at a pivotal stage in the companies growth.

This role, to be based in New York state, offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy during project construction, capital raising, and platform expansion, working directly with the CEO, Board, investors, lenders, and government stakeholders.

The Opportunity

• Executive ownership of capital markets strategy, including debt, equity, and structured project financing

• Financial leadership across operating assets, development projects, and downstream facilities

• Board-level influence during a period of significant capital deployment and scale-up

• Exposure to critical-minerals strategy, long-term infrastructure build, and value creation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate finance, FP&A, treasury, tax, internal controls, and reporting

• Execute material debt and equity financings, including government-linked funding

• Oversee construction and project finance, cost control, lender reporting, and drawdowns

• Design and manage commodity hedging strategies aligned with cash flow and financing requirements

• Ensure compliance with NYSE/TSX governance, disclosure, and audit standards

• Act as a primary interface with investors, analysts, banks, and regulators

Ideal Background

• CFO, Deputy CFO, or senior finance leader within a publicly listed mining, energy, infrastructure, or industrial business

• Proven track record in capital raising and project finance

• Strong technical accounting and governance capability

• Experience operating in multi-jurisdictional environments

• Comfortable leading in fast-moving, execution-driven settings
