Joel leads a global team from our Sydney office that provides comprehensive international search and selection services but is also an active headhunter, placing key mid and senior level staff across the industry in senior positions including finance, commercial, business development, M&A, technology, IT and supply chain as well as various management roles leveraging his 10 years of experience in the industry to deliver top quality executive search solutions. He also has a core technical expertise in placing Drill and Blast technical roles and a wide variety of roles with Explosives manufacturers and Drill and Blast service companies.

Joel has been working in natural resources recruitment internationally since 2012. In this time, he has made 100's of successful placements into positions across a variety of natural resources companies, from SMEs and start-ups all the way through to major multi-billion dollar international organisations. To date, he has placed individuals in more than 40 countries worldwide, drawing on both a deep passion for international politics and has spent time in many of the locations he has placed individuals, to help his clients avoid the challenges inherent in international recruitment.

In 2018, Joel moved to our Sydney office to develop the Explosives, Drilling & Blasting function there.

His team delivers highly bespoke, professional search solutions globally to identify, attract and secure the best talent available in the market for clients. With a particularly strong track record in senior management and specialist technical talent searches in challenging international locations, he has personally developed an extensive global network of contacts that he can leverage to source the best talent available.
