About the Role:
We're looking for a highly experienced Chief Electrical Estimator to lead our estimating team. This is a senior-level position responsible for developing accurate cost estimates and proposals for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and medium voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for a wide range of electrical systems
Review plans, specifications, and contracts for compliance
Lead and mentor a team of estimators and support staff
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and scope reviews
Participate in contract negotiations and change order evaluations
Collaborate with clients, project teams, and internal departments
Contribute to business development and project kick-off activities
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial construction
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, especially in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or data center environments
Experience in both hard-bid and conceptual estimating
Leadership skills with a track record of managing teams
Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., ConEst) and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organizational skills
