We are partnering with a globally established natural resources organisation that operates large-scale, technically advanced mining and processing facilities. This opportunity is based across two interconnected sites featuring a major underground molybdenum mining operation and a high-capacity processing facility, set within a stunning natural landscape that offers excellent outdoor lifestyle benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and enhance engineering practices across site operations.
  • Oversee and contribute to complex engineering projects, including construction, expansion, and modifications.
  • Monitor environmental compliance and advise leadership on corrective actions and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a key advisor to site management on engineering standards, safety, and legislation.
  • Manage vendor contracts for services and equipment to ensure value and performance.
  • Support strategic planning and budgeting for engineering functions.

Required Experience

  • Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in an Engineering discipline with significant engineering experience, including leadership responsibility.
  • Strong background in managing complex engineering projects within the mining industry, ideally mill infrastructure.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Proven leadership capability, including team supervision, development, and performance management.
